DATE: January 10, 2007  Dear brothers, this is my report for this month, if you have any question, please let me know.

Progress/Encouragements:

We are happy because God is using our lives to bring more people to Jesus. Thanks for every brother that is praying for our ministry.

Do you remember S.?   I had the opportunity to find him at home and share the gospel to him. Now, for the glory of God, he is a believer, and is receiving discipleship every week.

I received a call from a family in
Plainfield that was having trouble, and God lead us to share the gospel with Leticia. Leticia is now a believer and once a week we are going to
Plainfield to give her discipleship.

We had a dinner in
Wausau with a lot of Hispanic people. We made a lot of contacts there, and for the Glory of God; three of them came to Christ . They live in Merril, and for that reason we are unable to give them discipleship. They are farmer workers and have a very irregular schedule at their works.

Vanessa and I are praying for more and more people for the church, and one thing that surprised me is to see a visitor bringing another visitor to the church. We met  A. four months ago approximately, in one of the evangelism that we made in Almond area. He is a believer, but his son  wasn’t, and in that day his son came to Christ. He and his family were attending to a small Christian church in Wautoma. The pastor over there closed the church for 2 months (he went out to visit relatives in
Texas. I told him that he is welcome to attend our services. He brought his wife   and another visit   with her children. A. and his family intend to be regular attendants of our services in church and he will receive discipleship too.

We are encouraging our regular attendants to lead us to their contacts, and they are doing well

Every time that we find Hispanic people in stores or supermarkets, we give them invitations for our services in Sundays, and talk about we are here to help the Hispanic community.

Right now we are giving the free clinic brochure invitation to the people, and encouraging them to share about it.

We are grateful with God because He is maintaining the people faithful and stronger in faith. We can see spiritual growth in all our regular attendants and in the people that are receiving discipleship.

Right now, for the Glory of God, we have one more family  coming to the church regularly. We hope that her husband will become a regular attendant.

We have four families as regular attendees, and ten disciples  every week.

Special Prayer Needs:  Pray for God giving us strength to visit all the people that we reached for Christ every week.Pray the Lord may convince the people to permit us have the Bible studies at their homes or to come to the church Sundays at five. Pray for their conversion.Pray for the people that we reached for Christ, but they can’t go to the services because of their works  Pray for our visa process.

How may we help you?

Giving us the opportunity to visit some Hispanic contacts that you have in your neighborhood.

book.jpg Each student prepares during the week by studying the Scriptures and the textbook – in this case, “Spiritual Formation” (“Formacion Espiritual”).

students.jpg The classes involve both lectures and discussion among the students.

students2.jpg Pray for this effort.  We are looking for teachers – what is best is Pastors who are bilingual, but we are flexible on that.  A pastor, teacher or missionary who is able to teach could teach by translation.  We are hoping to open a site in the Norwalk/Sparta area.

How can you help? Pray!

We ask you to remember our new neighbors who speak Spanish as their mother tongue, and for the new churches, and for the pastors, and for the current and future leaders of the churches, that God might richly bless this church planting movement.

Put this on your daily list.

Or on your “whenever” list.  NOT the casual “whenever” but the purposeful whenever, like Paul’s in this passage:

Philip. 1:3
”I thank my God every time I remember you.”
